Free Flight made a special appearance last week at a book-reading put on by KPBS at La Jolla Country Day School. In celebration of "One Book, One San Diego," award-winning author Mina Javaherbin visited LJCDS to read and discuss her book, "The Secret Message." The biggest ham in our outreach team, "Red," was delighted to join in the fun and help kids make a valuable connection with the beauty and intelligence of parrots.
