Nikki came to us from Northern California after her human’s health declined to the point where they could no longer care for her. She tends to be a little shy around new people; but once she opens up, she’s got an adorable personality! She’s a talented climber, capable of climbing on to (and off of) most perches, which she does regularly, and always with an aim to find entertainment or a higher viewing angle. When the mood strikes her, she’s loves to serenade any bird or human in her presence, too! Most importantly, Nikki is a very empathic soul. She feeds off the emotions of others, which makes her a little anxious at times. If you’re calm and kind to her, though, she’ll be your friend in no time!
